To help the building reach a Phius+ certification, the New 首页s team provided energy recommendations early in the building process. T在这里 were multiple key energy efficient features that contributed to reaching Passive Building energy efficiency standards. In addition to providing recommendations, CEE’s in-house Phius+ rater, 杰克Selstad, performed testing and verification throughout the construction process to ensure the building was on track to receive desired 认证. This testing included frequent insulation inspections, mid-construction blower door tests to ensure effective airtightness of building assemblies, air leakage tests of the HVAC ductwork, and assisting with testing and balancing the whole building energy recovery ventilation unit. Near the end of construction, CEE performed final testing and verification to ensure the project met or exceeded all performance targets of Phius+ certification, including the whole building leakage threshold and critical ventilation rates.
After wrapping up final testing, the next step for certification was submitting for third-party verification through the RESNET and Phius quality assurance teams.
